The Corruption: (Hasea Chronicles Book 2) (English Edition) Reviews
Die Story um Alex und Gabriella nimmt in Buch 2 noch mehr Fahrt auf. Insgesamt wirkt der Schreibstil noch flüssiger als in Buch 1.Leider muss man jetzt wieder auf die Fortsetzung warten. Absolute Kauf-Empfehlung.
It's difficult to describe the entire storyline. I'm not a vampire fan, or witches or any of that, however, the author's concept which integrates all of this and more is incredible. You have your good guys and bad guys. It isn't that long before you start actually caring about the characters and become anxious to see what happens next.I'm waiting for the third book in the series to come out. Having gone this far along on the journey I very much want to see what happens next.Lastly, because of this series I'm having trouble reading something else because not that many books measure up to the quality of storyline this book series presents.
When I bought this book, I went back and re-read the first book again right before I started this one.The Good:- Great storyline - The momentum in this book builds till you can't put it down and I found the story to be enticing- Character Development - I really liked the progression of the core characters in this book, you can feel their development and enjoy the journey without too much issueThe not so Good:- Character Perspective: The first book always came from Alex's perspective, in the second book we get the story from a multitude of character perspectives. I felt for the first half of the book that it didn't quite work, however towards the end a lot more focused on Alex and the story flows!I really enjoyed this and I hope we don't have to wait too long for the third book in the series!
The HASEA chronicles are awesome! This second book was just about as good as the first and twice as enjoyable! If you like vampires, fairies, dragons ,magic, heck any type of Sci-fi creatures you can think of, they are in here. Stuart Meczes is a writer than I find enjoyable, good solid story line with characters that make you love the book. I am looking forward to the next installment of the HASEA series and recommend them to folks who love good Sci-fi.
This book is an excellent next chapter in the Hasea series. I fully have to admit that when I first started reading the first book, I was not sure I was going to like it. But after getting into the chapters, I was hooked. Now with book two, I seem to have another favorite series. I really enjoyed reading this book, and am liking forward to the third book. For me, personally, this was a highly enjoyable read.
I read the first book, and have been waiting for this one ever since. The story takes a few twists, and is a bit of a different style to the first, but still worth the time. I enjoyed it. The main plot of the tale is the fight against the darkness within, a darkness that threatens to consume Alex. The guardians continue to weave an interesting tale and I can't wait to see what happens next.
