Left For Dead Reviews
wie die beiden anderen Bücher, die ich von Kevin O'Brien gelesen habe, fand ich auch dieses sehr spannend und überaus lesenswert!
I enjoyed the twists in the plot, and for a change was actually surprised by part of the ending. I'm not sure if it's only a problem in the kindle version, or all editions, but there is a significant problem with editing. Several articles and pronouns go missing. Fortunately, I could figure out what was needed and understand the sentences as I presume they were intended. There are a couple of instances in which the author displays ignorance of the vocabulary he uses. He writes "rod iron" where it should be "wrought iron," and "kitten caboodle" where it should be kit 'n' (as in "and") caboodle. One's kit would be a bag or case containing necessary items of clothing or equipment. With better editing I would have rated this higher.
Another amazing book by Kevin O'Brien. My only complaint with this one was the lack of editing. I found it hard to follow at times and a few jumbled sections. If you can get by that, you will truly enjoy the story!
I wish I could this book, 10 stars, it was soooooogooood. If you want a edge if your seat book, hold your breath book and leave all your lights on, read this one. Read several of his books and can only say he's one of best author's you will ever read....My Best, Judy
If you see Kevin O’Brien as the author, definitely read the book. Plot twists, surprise endings, he’s got it all.
This will be the 4th book I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it. I did have it figured out about 3/4th the way through who the killer's were but wasn't quite sure.I had never read any books by him but bought the first one by reading the reviews here. I'm glad I found him since I really like serial killer books. His aren't gruesome or anything and don't go into detail about the killings like some I have read.I highly recomend his books, they keep you interested and aren't hard to get into like some I've read.
